Electrolux Roadshow 2025

Electrolux Roadshow 2025

Mobile brand activation with a walk-in XXL installation.

A national roadshow was implemented for Electrolux, designed as a mobile experience platform. The centerpiece was a walk-in washing machine trailer that was used at trade fairs, train stations, and major events across Switzerland. The project included concept development, production, logistics, and operation of the tour. The activation was planned as a scalable roadshow system that is transportable, quick to install, and suitable for high-traffic locations.

Starting from a simple trailer, the vision of a walk-in XXL washing machine was developed. From the outset, the project was conceived as a mobile experience and roadshow format.

System design & planning:

  • Development of a walk-in trailer concept
  • Planning as a mobile roadshow for different locations
  • Integration of interactive and immersive elements
  • Designed to handle high visitor volumes in public spaces

The interior build-out of the trailer was fully implemented and designed as a permanent roadshow installation.

The installation was realized as a fully walk-in experience space and technically designed for long-term touring use.

Production:

  • Complete build-out of the trailer as a branded installation
  • Integration of a digital prize wheel
  • Immersive lighting concept for the interior
  • Interactive experience stations

The interior build required around 600 hours of production.

The activation was designed as a nationwide tour across Switzerland and deployed at high-traffic locations.
Tour setup:

  • Launch at the BEA trade fair in Bern
  • Additional stops including Zurich, Lausanne, Winterthur, Basel, and Lucerne
  • Deployment at major events such as ESAF and OLMA
  • Installations at train stations and trade fairs with high visitor traffic

Transport & setup:

  • Per event deployment included:
  • Truck with trailer
  • Delivery van with trailer
  • Tow vehicle for the trailer

Around 150 working hours for setup and dismantling throughout the tour.

The installation was developed as a walk-in brand world designed to attract attention and enable interaction.

Experience setup:

  • Walk-in XXL washing machine as a visual centerpiece
  • Digital prize wheel to activate visitors
  • Immersive lighting concept for staging the experience
  • Interactive elements for on-site engagement

The roadshow was designed to make brand messages tangible within visitors’ everyday environments.

The roadshow had to operate at changing locations with varying requirements. Accordingly, the focus was on mobility, reusability, and reliable operational processes.

Operations & organization:

  • Deployment at trade fairs, train stations, and major events
  • Designed for high-traffic environments
  • Modular setup for repeated installations
  • Touring-ready infrastructure and processes

The roadshow demonstrates how mobile installations can be designed as long-term, reusable infrastructure. Through touring-ready processes and a modular build, an activation was created that can be flexibly deployed at a wide range of locations. The focus on transport, reusability, and quick installations ensures efficient operations throughout the entire tour. At the same time, the experiential format enables strong visibility in public spaces. The result is a roadshow concept that remains scalable across multiple deployments.
